Little Miss Nina gained her angel wings on Monday 2/21/11.  She was with her momma and dada and was peacefully sleeping when she went to be with Jesus.  Please keep her family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this time.

Carr Family Maternity Shoot-- Grovetown, Georgia Maternity Photographer

I had a spur of the moment photo shoot today with some really good friends of ours before their 2nd child and 1st daughter is born!  Tracy and I have known each other forever and we both are really bad about waiting to the last minute to do things, so I wasn't surprised at all when she called and asked if I could do some pictures before she gives birth.  She's due the first week in March, but we will see if she comes early! We kinda incorporated a small family session into the maternity session, because this is the last time this family will ever be a family of 3 and will soon be a family of 4!  Super Wy (the soon to be big brother) wasn't feeling too well, but he was a trooper and did a great job smiling for the pictures!  ( I did get my work out in chasing him around trying to get some pictures)   Here is a sneak peek of the session and I hope everyone enjoys them!  If you like them then make sure to leave some comments and let Tracy and Kevin know how much you love their pictures!

A great start to a fun session!  I'm trying to do more natural light photos and I think this turned out pretty good.

We worked so so hard to get this shot!  Super Wy would not walk in a straight line towards me or be still for very long.  I finally got the picture and almost jumped up and down with excitement.

Tracy was gorgeous and definitely had that pregnancy glow.  She is one of those girls that look good pregnant!  I hope she likes these images, they were some of my favorites.

I love these pictures.  Tracy had her hands on her belly, and then we had Tracy move her arms and get pictures of Kevin with his hands on the belly, and then both of them together.  I love how you can see their wedding rings also!

Tracy and Kevin, I had such a good time with ya'll today and I can't wait to meet little miss in a few weeks and be able to do a photo session for 4 instead of 3 !!!!!  Enjoy the pictures and I will let you know when the others are ready!

Praying for Nina

I heard about this little girl out in Santa Barbara, California in August from a photographer friend. She was diagnosed in August 2010 with an inoperable brain tumor and her mom has been keeping a blog about Nina's progress, daily things, and videos of Nina and her family. Nina has been having a really rough time lately and I want to ask my blog friends to please keep her and her family in your prayers and thoughts. She is such a fighter and such a beautiful little girl that she has touched my heart and i'm sure thousands of others that have never met her.

Since the beginning of this diagnosis Nina's family has said that there is one outcome (complete healing) but two very different ways of getting there (on this Earth or in Heaven) We pray for healing here on Earth, that she will beat this and have a very happy and normal childhood and grow into an amazing young woman. Either way, pray for Nina, her mom and dad, her brother and cousins, and all of her friends and family.
